At Overland Academy, how we teach is just as important as what we teach. Our instructional philosophy follows the Trivium of Classical Education—adapting teaching methods to match each stage of cognitive development.
- Grammar Stage (K–4): Focus on absorbing facts, foundational skills, and language
- Logic Stage (5–8): Students explore cause and effect, reasoning, and analysis
- Rhetoric Stage (9–12): Emphasis on persuasion, self-expression, and leadership
As students grow, so does the depth of instruction—moving from structure to dialogue and culminating in Socratic seminars.
